2) How age gating and verification works

• Age gate / self-declaration: we may require you to confirm you are 18+ before continuing.

4) If we detect or suspect underage access

If we reasonably believe an account is used by someone under 18, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Request proof of age and restrict access while verification is pending.
• Suspend or terminate the account.
• Remove or disable associated content and access credentials.

5) ID / age-proof handling and privacy

If we request age verification documents, we aim to collect only what is necessary to confirm eligibility (18+). Information is handled in line with applicable New Zealand privacy requirements (including the Privacy Act 2020), used for verification, fraud prevention, and compliance, and retained only as long as needed for those purposes. Where appropriate, we may redact or ask you to redact non-essential details.

6) Guidance for parents and guardians

• Monitor device access and use child/teen account controls where available.
• Keep login details private and review app/browser history.
